Hi, I’m Kerstin Holm, or as you might know me, Kerstin of Sweden.

You’re wondering, “Kerstin of Sweden? Where’d that name come from?”

Well, it’s a long story, but it basically boils down to me being a bit of a rebel. I’ve lived in the US for what feels like forever, but people just love to ask where I’m really from. So, I decided to give them what they want, with a twist.

“Kerstin of Sweden” rolls off the tongue, it’s easy to remember, and it saves me from having to explain my life story every time I meet someone new.

My work is a reflection of my own experiences and a celebration of the human spirit.

My journey has been one of constant growth, from co-founding a tech company to becoming a passionate artist. I use my paintings to explore life’s events and emotions, often shared by many, especially women.

Before I traded in my tech suit for an apron and a paintbrush, I was a co-founder of a high-tech company. I went from building video conferencing software (used by companies like Zoom) to building beautiful paintings. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of serving on various boards, mentoring aspiring entrepreneurs, and contributing to the growth of several organizations. I am also a cofounder of SACC (Swedish American Chamber of Commerce) in Florida and the Swedish Church in Florida.

I have served on several boards, been an angel investor, mentored at SCORE, CareerSource Broward, and several similar Swedish organizations. Mentor of the twice winning team of technology transfer. My background in horse breeding, becoming a mother and then a grandmother, running a technology company, and being multicultural has given me unique perspectives that I now apply to my artistic endeavors. I’m inspired by Chagall’s paintings and his use of color. He’s encouraged me to boldly use the colors I love and to write stories that accompany my artwork

Today, I’m proud to call myself Kerstin of Sweden, an artist dedicated to using my craft to empower and inspire others. Join me on this colorful journey of self-discovery and artistic expression.

Let’s create some magic together!
